About Manor

Here at Dorking Manor, we provide nursing home care for older adults in the heart of Dorking, Surrey. We are a place where residents feel genuinely at home, and where families can feel confident that their loved ones are being looked after properly, by people who truly know them as individuals. We care for people with a range of needs, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Our nursing team is on hand around the clock to manage complex health needs, working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to make sure each resident receives the right level of support. We also welcome people for respite stays, whether that is to give a family carer a much needed break or to support a period of recovery. Dementia care sits at the heart of much of what we do. We understand how unsettling and emotional this journey can be, both for the person living with dementia and for those close to them. We work hard to create a calm, familiar environment where residents feel safe and where routines are respected. We get to know each person before they move in, listening carefully to their preferences, their history, and what matters most to them day to day. That understanding shapes the way we provide care, from the meals we serve to the activities we organise and the conversations we have along the way. Dorking itself is a lovely part of Surrey, and we enjoy the connections that come with being part of this community. Families are always welcome here, and we encourage them to stay involved in the life of the home. If you would like to find out more or come and have a look around, please do get in touch. We would be very glad to hear from you.
