About Eden View

Eden View is a nursing home near Cambridge. We care for adults who need qualified nursing alongside help with daily living, including people with a physical disability, and we take respite bookings for families needing a break or for somebody who needs a period of extra support. Having nurses on site changes what can be managed here. Complex medication, changing symptoms and health that shifts from one day to the next are handled in the home rather than through repeated journeys to hospital, which matters most at the stage when somebody is worn out by being moved around. The clinical side is only part of the job. People here choose how their day runs, keep their own belongings about them, eat food they actually want and see their families whenever they like. Where somebody has a physical disability but is otherwise getting on with life, our part is to remove the obstacles rather than to take over, and we plan around the life a person still wants to lead. We talk straightforwardly with relatives and with the professionals involved, particularly when health is changing. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us good overall. If you are looking at nursing or respite care around Cambridge, please get in touch and come and see us.
