About Claro Homes

We are a care home in Bristol offering both residential and nursing care, which means that somebody who moves in needing help with daily living does not have to move again if their health needs increase. Registered nurses are on duty around the clock. We care for older people and for younger adults, including people living with a mental health condition. What we try to provide, beyond the clinical side of things, is an ordinary life. People choose when to get up, what to eat, where to sit and how much company they want. Some days that means a full room and conversation, other days a closed door and quiet, and both are perfectly reasonable choices. Our staff work with GPs, community nurses and hospital teams so that treatment happens promptly and, wherever possible, here rather than in a hospital bed. We keep families informed as a matter of course, not only when something has gone wrong. Respite and short stays are available alongside permanent places, which can help after a hospital discharge or when a carer at home needs a rest. Our most recent Care Quality Commission inspection rated the home Good. If you are looking at residential or nursing care in Bristol, please contact us to arrange a visit and see how the home feels in person.
