About Us
We provide support in people's own homes across Wiltshire and the surrounding counties, working from Chippenham. Most of our work is with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, and we also support older people.
Our work is about somebody living their own life with the right support around it rather than being looked after. That might mean help with cooking, shopping and running a household. It might mean somebody alongside you at an appointment or in a place that would otherwise be overwhelming. It might mean support to keep a job or a course going, or simply somebody who turns up reliably and takes your plans seriously.
Support is planned with the person rather than about them, and reviewed as things change. Where somebody wants to take on more for themselves, our job is to step back at the right pace and stay near enough to help if it does not go as hoped.
For autistic people especially, the practical details do most of the work. Who is coming and when. What will happen and in what order. How much notice there is before anything changes.
