About Us

We provide care at home for older people in Woodbridge, supporting those who live in their own accommodation and need some help to carry on doing so comfortably. Our work includes support for people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and people with loss of sight or hearing.

The help we give is arranged around the person. It may be assistance with washing and dressing, support with medication, a hand with meals, or the kind of regular contact that means someone is never left to cope alone with a difficult day. Because we support people where they already live, we see them in the context of their own homes and neighbours, and we think that makes for better care than any assessment on paper.

We take continuity seriously. The same familiar staff visiting means someone does not have to keep explaining themselves, and it means we notice early when a person is unwell, in pain or low in spirits. Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and are supported by senior colleagues they can turn to.

At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us outstanding overall. We are pleased with that and equally aware that a rating is a snapshot. What keeps it true is the ordinary daily work and listening when someone tells us something is wrong.
