About Harmonize Care

Harmonize Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Sudbury and across Suffolk. We work with people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. Home care is only worth having if it fits the person. We visit first, without charge and without obligation, and we talk about how the day actually goes now, what has become difficult and what somebody wants to carry on doing themselves. The plan comes out of that conversation, agreed with the person and with family or an advocate if they want them there. We keep the team around each household small and we introduce new support workers properly rather than sending somebody unannounced. For people living with dementia and for anyone who cannot see or hear well, a familiar voice at the door and an unhurried manner make more difference than anything else we could offer. Support covers personal care, medication, meals and drinks, housework and laundry, shopping, getting out to appointments, and company for people whose days have grown quiet. Where somebody has a physical disability we look closely at equipment, transfers and how the home is set up, and we make sure the people visiting are trained for what is needed. Where somebody is managing a mental health condition we keep support consistent and work alongside their community team. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a visit.
