About Us
We provide care at home in Newmarket and across the east of the region, supporting older people and younger adults. The people we work with include those living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people with mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities.
Needs that varied cannot be met from a standard package, so we ask before we plan. For an older person, help often centres on personal care, medication, meals and keeping the house manageable. For a younger adult it is more likely to be about independence: running a home, getting to work or college, handling money and keeping appointments. Where somebody is living with dementia, a familiar and unhurried carer does more good than anything written down.
Covering a market town and the countryside around it means reliability has to be planned rather than promised. We would rather be honest about which places and times we can cover than commit to visits we cannot keep. Where we do commit, we try to send the same carers consistently.
Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can reach. We do not yet hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission and are happy to discuss that openly.
