About Us

We provide care in people's own homes in Newmarket and the surrounding parts of Suffolk. Our purpose is to make staying at home workable, with support that arrives when it should and is given by carers the household knows.

Most of the people we visit are older. We help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping and the practical jobs around the house that have become awkward. We also support people with a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, people whose sight or hearing is impaired and younger adults needing support to live independently.

Where sight or hearing is impaired the details decide everything. Belongings stay where people expect them, we say who we are and what we are about to do before we do it, and we check that we have been understood rather than assuming.

We keep teams small around each person, so the face at the door is a known one and so our carers notice early when something has changed.

Everything starts with a home visit and an unhurried conversation about what would genuinely help.
