About Primary Homecare
Primary Homecare supports people in their own homes across Ipswich and the surrounding parts of Suffolk. Home is where most people would rather be, and our work is to make staying there realistic and safe. We support older people and younger adults, and the range of needs we cover is broad. It includes people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss. A visit might be half an hour of help with getting up and dressed, or it might be a longer package built around complex needs. Either way it is planned with the person, not handed to them. We put real effort into continuity. Knowing who is coming through the door, and at roughly what time, is not a luxury, and we build our rotas with that in mind. Our carers are trained for the particular needs of the people they visit, and we keep families informed when something changes. At our most recent inspection the Care Quality Commission rated us outstanding. We are proud of that, and we are clear that a rating reflects the people doing the work every day rather than anything written on a wall. If you are looking at care at home, whether now or in a few months, please get in touch. We are glad to talk things through with no obligation.
