About Beyea Care
Beyea Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Ipswich and across Suffolk. We work with older people and with adults living with dementia, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. We begin with a home visit and a proper conversation rather than a form. What matters is how a household actually works, where the day has become difficult and what kind of help would genuinely be welcome. From that we agree a plan with the person and, if they wish, with their family, write it down plainly and review it whenever circumstances change. Support can include help with getting up and settling at night, washing and dressing, prompting or assisting with medication, preparing meals, help around the house, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see people. We work hard to send the same carers to the same households. Familiarity is what makes personal care acceptable to people, and a carer who knows somebody well will notice a change in appetite, mobility or mood before it becomes an emergency. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. If you are considering care at home in the Ipswich area, please get in touch and we will talk through the options clearly and without pressure.
