About At Most Care
We are a home care agency based in Ipswich, supporting people in their own homes across this part of Suffolk. We visit older people, including many living with dementia, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults who need support with daily life. The support we provide is shaped by the person rather than by a standard package. Sometimes it is a short call in the morning to help with getting up, washing and dressing, leaving the rest of the day free. Sometimes it is help with medication, meals and the practical running of a household. Sometimes it is several visits a day, because that is what makes staying at home realistic. We agree what is needed at the outset, write it down plainly and change it when things change rather than waiting for the next review date. Continuity is what we work hardest at. The same few carers going to the same person means a familiar face at the door and somebody who will notice when that person is not quite themselves, which is very often the most useful thing to come out of a visit. We will tell you honestly if we think another agency would suit you better, because taking on work we cannot do well helps nobody. If you are thinking about care at home for yourself or a relative in or around Ipswich, please ring us and we will talk it through.
