About Us
You Centred Healthcare provides care at home for people living in Southwark and the surrounding parts of south London. The name is meant literally. Support should be built around the person receiving it, at the times that suit them, in the way they prefer it done.
Our carers visit older people who need help with personal care, medication, meals, mobility or the household tasks that quietly become obstacles. We support people living with dementia, where a familiar home and a familiar face are among the most useful things anyone can offer. We also work with people living with a physical disability and with people who have sight or hearing loss, adapting how we communicate and how we help to suit each person.
Everything starts with a conversation about how somebody likes their day to run, including what they would rather do for themselves. We review arrangements as needs change, keep families in the picture where that is wanted, and plan our rounds carefully because being late is no small matter when somebody is waiting.
We do not currently hold an overall rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we prefer to say so openly.
