About Us

We are Olive Leaf Health and Homecare, a home care agency in South Gloucestershire, near Bristol. We support people in their own homes, working with older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing a mental health condition, and people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment.

Covering that range means our first question is never what we provide but what this particular person needs. An older person finding the mornings hard and a younger adult building a working life around their support have very little in common as pieces of work, and running both through one template serves neither.

What stays the same is how we try to work. Arrive when we said we would. Send people the household already knows. Adapt to how somebody communicates rather than expecting them to adapt to us. Raise a concern early rather than waiting for it to become obvious to everyone.

Continuity is the part we work hardest at. Sending the same small group of carers to the same household is harder to roster than people imagine, and a carer who knows somebody notices when they are not themselves.

We work alongside families, GPs, community teams and social workers, and we review arrangements as circumstances change.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good.
