About Us

Agincare UK at Edward Jenner Court provides care and support in people's own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We work with older people and younger adults, including people with physical disabilities and people with sight or hearing loss.

Our starting point is what somebody still does for themselves. Care that quietly takes over is easy to deliver and does lasting harm, so we look for the smallest amount of help that makes the day work and we revisit it as circumstances change, including reducing support when less is what is needed.

Everything begins with a visit at home and a proper conversation. When the day starts, what still gets done independently, what has become genuinely difficult, who else is involved and what would make the biggest difference. The plan follows from that rather than from a form.

We keep the same small team with the same people wherever the rota allows, and we introduce anyone new alongside a familiar colleague. For people with sight or hearing loss we adapt how we make contact so that nobody is left guessing who has just walked in, and we leave the home arranged as its owner wants it.
