About Us

Alex C&C Healthcare provides care and support to people in their own homes in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience covers dementia, learning disabilities and autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sight and hearing loss.

Support is agreed at home with the person and whoever they want involved. It may be a short daily call for personal care and medication, several visits for meals, company and help around the house, or longer stretches for somebody who should not be alone.

We need to be straight about where we stand. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us requires improvement overall. We accepted what was found rather than contesting it. Since then we have strengthened supervision and training, tightened how visits, medicines and records are managed and checked, and increased how closely senior staff look at the care actually being given rather than the care written down. That work continues and we will not claim it is complete.
