About Us

Agincare Oxford provides care at home for people in Witney and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. We take on a range of needs, and what we do is agreed with the person rather than offered as a fixed package.

For older people we help with washing and dressing, medication, meals, laundry, shopping and getting out to appointments or to see friends. We also keep an eye on the wider picture, raising a fading appetite or new unsteadiness early rather than leaving a family to find out later.

For people living with dementia we keep the same care workers visiting wherever the rota allows, work with the routine the household already has and avoid moving things about in a home somebody knows well. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, where the emphasis is independence and communication that suits the person, and adults with mental health needs, where reliability does most of the good. For people with a physical disability we help with moving safely and managing at home, and where there is sight or hearing loss we adapt how we communicate and always say who we are.
