About Us

We provide care at home in Oxford and across Oxfordshire, working with people living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities, autistic people, people living with mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with visual or hearing impairments.

What we do depends entirely on what somebody needs and wants. For one person it is help with washing, dressing and medication, and a hand with meals and the house. For another it is support to run their own home, get to work or college, manage money and keep appointments. For a third it is mainly about having somebody steady who turns up, notices how they are and does not take over.

Consistency of staff is something we take seriously rather than mention in passing, because for autistic people and for anyone whose mental health is unsettled, a familiar worker and a predictable arrangement often count for more than extra hours. Our staff are trained for the needs they are asked to meet and have senior colleagues they can reach.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was requires improvement. We would rather tell you that ourselves than leave you to find it later. We are working through the points the inspectors raised and are willing to go through the report with anyone considering us.
