About Us

Brandon Trust Supported Living in Oxfordshire provides support to adults in their own homes and their own tenancies across the county.

We work with adults who have a learning disability and autistic adults, alongside older people, people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment, and people managing a mental health condition.

Supported living rests on a distinction that is easy to lose sight of. The home belongs to the person. We are there to provide the support that makes living in it workable, and the decisions about how life is run stay with them. That changes how we behave. We knock, we ask, we do not rearrange somebody's kitchen because it would be more efficient, and we treat a person's tenancy as theirs rather than as a placement.

It also changes what success looks like. Often it means somebody needing less from us over time. Where a person wants to cook, manage their own money, travel independently or take on work or study, we put real effort behind that.
