About Us
We at Oxfordshire Children, Young People and Families are proud to provide compassionate home care across Kidlington and the wider Oxfordshire community, supporting children, young people and their loved ones to thrive in the place they know best: their own home.
Operating from the OX postcode area, our team reaches families throughout Kidlington and the surrounding villages of Oxfordshire. As a home care agency, we bring our support directly to you, meaning there is no unfamiliar environment to adjust to and no disruption to the routines, comforts and family life that matter most. Every visit takes place in the setting where your child feels safest, surrounded by their own belongings, their family and the community they know.
Our specialist support has been thoughtfully shaped around the needs of young people with learning disabilities and autism, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. In practice, this means our approach is never one size fits all. We take the time to truly understand each young person, their communication preferences, their sensory needs, their interests and their goals. For families, this translates into consistent, informed care from a team that understands the daily realities of raising a child with additional needs. Whether that involves personal care, help with mobility, sensory support, or simply being a reassuring presence so parents can rest, we work in genuine partnership with you.
We are particularly proud that the Care Quality Commission has rated us Good overall, with an Outstanding rating in the Caring domain following our most recent inspection. That Outstanding recognition speaks to something we hold dear: the warmth, kindness and dignity our team brings to every family they support. Alongside this, we achieved Good ratings for being Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well led, giving families confidence that the care their child receives is not only compassionate but also professionally delivered and thoughtfully managed.
Choosing support for your child is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we understand the questions, hopes and worries that come with it. If you would like to learn more about how we could support your family in Kidlington or elsewhere in Oxfordshire, we warmly invite you to get in touch. We are here to listen, to answer your questions honestly, and to walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for your family.
