About Us

We are YourLife (Henley on Thames), a home care agency supporting people in their own homes in Henley and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment.

Our starting point is the life somebody already has rather than a list of what we could provide. What does an ordinary day look like, what has become hard work, and what does the person want to keep managing themselves. The visits are built from those answers, and because circumstances change we review the arrangement instead of letting an old plan run on.

Where someone has a sensory impairment, small things carry a lot of weight. Speaking in a way a person can actually follow. Leaving the home exactly as we found it, because a moved chair is a hazard rather than a minor untidiness. Checking that a hearing aid is working before concluding that somebody is confused.

We keep the same carers with the same people wherever we can, and we tell families early when we notice something changing.
