About Us
Be Well Care provides support at home for people in Henley on Thames and the surrounding part of Oxfordshire. The people we visit include older people, many of them living with dementia, as well as younger adults, people with a learning disability or autism, people with a physical disability, people with sight or hearing loss and people managing mental health conditions.
With a range that wide we do not pretend one approach suits everybody. We spend proper time at the start understanding how somebody lives, what they want help with and what they would rather keep doing themselves, and we then think carefully about which carer suits which person. The right match makes more difference than anything written in a plan, and once it is working we try to protect it by keeping the same small team visiting.
Visits can cover personal care and medication, cooking, shopping and housework, support to get out into the community, or company for somebody who sees very few people in a week. Some people need one short call a day and others need several, or support overnight.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. We treat it as the standard we are expected to hold rather than an achievement to display, and we keep asking the people we visit and their families whether we are doing what we promised. If you would like to discuss care at home in this area, please get in touch and we will explain the options plainly.
