About Us

Saint Catherine's Care Oxford supports people in their own homes in Abingdon and the surrounding parts of Oxfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia, adults with a learning disability, autistic people, people managing mental health conditions, and people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment.

Because the people we support are so varied, we plan individually rather than offering set packages. We meet the person, and anyone they want with them, work out what would genuinely help, and write it down in plain language so that every carer who visits works to the same understanding.

Support may be personal care, medication and meals, or it may be wider, covering household tasks, shopping, appointments, getting out of the house, or holding together a routine that has become hard to manage alone.

We keep teams small and consistent, because trust is what makes personal care in your own home bearable, and because a carer who knows someone well notices early when things have changed. Reliability matters just as much, so we plan rounds we can genuinely keep.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. With the person's agreement we keep families informed and raise concerns promptly with health professionals.
