About Link House

Link House supports people in their own homes in Surbiton and the surrounding parts of Kingston upon Thames. We work with adults who want help to run their own lives rather than a service that takes over. For older people we help with washing and dressing, prompting and support with medication, meals and drinks, laundry, shopping and keeping the home comfortable, and we help people get out and about, which is often the part that slips first. We support adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, where the work is usually about independence: cooking, managing money, using local transport, keeping a job or a course going, and having staff who understand how somebody communicates and what makes a day difficult. Where somebody has a physical disability we help with moving safely and with managing at home as independently as possible. Many of the people we support are younger adults, so we plan around study, work and social life. We take time to get to know a person before making plans, and we involve the people who matter to them where that is wanted. Our staff are trained for the individuals they support, and support is reviewed as things change. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about support at home here.
