About Hollyfield House

Hollyfield House provides care and support to people in their own homes in Surbiton and across Kingston upon Thames. We work with older people and with younger adults who need help to manage at home. The work is practical and it is judged on reliability. Turning up when we said we would, staying for the time we agreed, knowing the person we are visiting and doing what they want done rather than what is quickest. That is the job, and it is harder to do consistently than it sounds. Support is agreed with each person in their own home, with family or an advocate involved whenever they want that. Our office is contactable during the day and there is somebody on call outside those hours, because problems in home care rarely arrange themselves around working time. We are also clear about our limits. If somebody needs more than we can safely provide we will say so and help them find who can.
