About Us
Right at Home in Wimbledon, Putney and Kingston provides care and support in people's own homes across south west London. Our work rests on a preference almost everybody shares: to stay at home, among familiar things, for as long as it can be made to work.
Most of the people we visit are older adults. Support might mean help with washing, dressing, medication and meals, or longer visits for people who need company and a closer eye kept on how they are doing. We support people living with dementia, and we have learned that the most valuable thing we bring is a familiar person who is not rushing and who already knows how this individual likes things done. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, with people who have physical disabilities and with people who have a visual or hearing impairment, adapting how we assist and how we communicate in each case. We also support younger adults, whose care is built around work, study and family.
We work hard to keep the same small team around each person, because continuity makes everything else possible.
Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is good. Please contact us and ask whatever you need to before deciding.
