About Us
Here at Liberty Lodge, we provide home care support to people living in Folkestone and the surrounding areas of Kent. We work with a wide range of individuals, including older adults, younger adults, people living with a learning disability or autism, those experiencing mental health difficulties, and people with visual or hearing impairments. We also support individuals who are working through challenges related to alcohol or drug misuse. Whatever someone's situation, we try to meet them where they are and build support around their actual life rather than a one size fits all approach.
Being based in Folkestone means we understand the local community. Our staff are part of this area too, and that familiarity matters when you are inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your day to day life. We take that trust seriously.
We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission resulted in a rating of good across the board. That outcome reflects the work our team puts in every day, and it gives families and individuals confidence when they are making what can often feel like a difficult decision about accepting care at home.
Home care means different things to different people. For some it might be support with personal care or medication. For others it could be companionship, help with daily routines, or assistance managing in the community. We are flexible in how we work and we listen carefully to what people actually want from their support, not just what they are assessed as needing on paper.
If you are thinking about care for yourself or a loved one, we would always encourage you to get in touch for a conversation. There is no pressure, and we are happy to answer questions and talk things through at whatever pace suits you.
