About Us
We are Angela Hamlin Health Care Professionals, providing care and support to people in their own homes in Kensington and Chelsea and the surrounding parts of London.
We support older people, people living with dementia, and people with physical disabilities. We have kept our focus clear rather than claiming to cover everything, and home care for older and disabled adults is what we do.
In practice our visits cover help with washing and dressing, support with medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, shopping, help getting out to appointments, and the ordinary company that often matters as much as any task written on a care plan.
For somebody living with dementia, a familiar worker arriving at a familiar time is worth a great deal, so we try hard to keep the same small group of people visiting. A stranger in the house at an unexpected hour can undo a whole day.
We also start by asking what somebody actually wants from us and what they would rather keep doing for themselves, because support that quietly takes over is resented and then refused.
