About Us
GoodOaks Homecare on the Isle of Wight is a home care agency based in Sandown, supporting people in their own homes across the Island.
We visit older people and younger adults, people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a sensory impairment and people managing a mental health condition. Calls range from a short morning visit through to several a day, covering personal care, medication, meals, help to move about the home safely, shopping, appointments and company.
Working on the Island has an advantage we try not to waste. Distances are manageable, our care workers know the roads and often the families, and it is realistic for the same few people to visit the same person week after week. Continuity is the single thing that makes home care feel like care rather than a rota arriving at the door.
