About Us

Community Spirited provides care and support in people's own homes in East Cowes and across the Isle of Wight. Our work is built around the life somebody already has, and the aim is to support it rather than reorganise it for our convenience.

We support older adults who need help with personal care, medication, meals or getting safely about the house. We work with adults who have a learning disability or autism, where communication suited to the person, a routine that can be relied upon and support that builds skills rather than replacing them make the greatest difference. We support people with physical disabilities, helping with washing, dressing, mobility and getting out into the world while leaving the person deciding how things are done, and younger adults, whose weeks are usually built around work, study, family or plans of their own.

We keep the team around each person as small and consistent as we can manage, because familiarity is what lets trust build and changes be noticed early.
