About Us

We support people in their own homes across the Isle of Wight. The people we visit are varied. Older people, many of them living with dementia. Adults with a learning disability or autism. People with mental health needs, including eating disorders. People with physical disabilities or with sight and hearing loss. Younger adults.

Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission is outstanding. We are pleased about it, while being clear that a rating describes what inspectors found at a particular time and that the job is to keep on earning it. What sits behind it is not complicated. Choosing carers carefully, training them properly, thinking about who we send to whom, and looking after our staff so that they stay long enough to really know the people they visit.

The support itself is shaped around the person. Short calls covering personal care and medication for some. Longer visits for others, built around company, confidence and getting out of the house. Something much more substantial where that is what makes staying at home possible. We agree it with the person, write it down plainly and adjust it as things change.
