About Us
At PARES, we provide home care support to people living in Newport and across the Isle of Wight, helping individuals remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible. We work with a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and those living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, visual or hearing impairments, and those affected by alcohol or drug misuse. We take the time to understand each person as an individual, making sure the support we offer fits around their life rather than the other way around.
We are proud to be rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the effort our team puts into delivering consistent, thoughtful care. That rating matters to us not as a badge, but because it tells the people we support and their families that we take our responsibilities seriously and that we hold ourselves to a proper standard.
Our personal assistants are carefully recruited and matched to the people they work with. We believe that the relationship between a carer and the person they support is central to good outcomes, so we put real thought into how those connections are made. Whether someone needs help with daily routines, personal care, companionship, or managing more complex needs, we work to make sure the right support is in place.
Being based here on the Island means we understand the local community and the particular circumstances that come with living somewhere like the Isle of Wight. We are not a distant organisation, and the people who run PARES are genuinely involved in the day to day work of supporting our clients and their families.
If you would like to find out more about how we might be able to help, we would be very happy to have a conversation.
