About Us
Liberty Care at Home provides care and support to older people in their own homes in Newport and across the Isle of Wight.
Our purpose is straightforward: to make staying at home a realistic choice rather than a daily struggle. What that takes varies from one person to the next, so we work it out at home rather than offering a standard package. For some people a single morning call is plenty, to help with washing and dressing and to make sure medication has been taken. For others we come several times a day, with meals prepared, shopping fetched, the house kept in order, company, and a hand to get to an appointment or simply out for a while.
Some people want a great deal of help and others want very little and would rather we did not take over the rest. We listen carefully to which it is and write the plan around that, and we change it as life changes rather than when a review date comes round.
Reliability is what matters most. Arriving when we said we would. Staying the full visit. Sending carers the person already knows. Ringing a family before they have to ring us. On an island with long distances between towns, that takes careful planning and we do it.
We are registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
