About Us

Shadz Care supports people in their own homes across Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding parts of Hertfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, people with a learning disability or autism, and people living with a mental health condition.

That range means we cannot work from a single template. We sit down at the start, work out what would genuinely make a difference to the person in front of us, and build the support around that rather than around what is simplest to staff.

Visits cover personal care, support with medication, meals and drinks, help around the house and with shopping, and support to get out to appointments, to work or study, or into town. Where somebody mainly needs a steady routine and someone reliable to check in with, we treat that as a proper aim in itself rather than dressing it up as something more clinical.

We keep teams small and consistent, because people should not have to explain themselves to a different face every week, and a familiar carer notices a change early enough for it to matter.
