About Us

Jubilee supports people in their own homes in Welwyn Garden City and the surrounding parts of Hertfordshire. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with mental ill health, with people who have sight or hearing loss, and with adults who have a learning disability or are autistic.

We begin with a conversation rather than a package. We ask how somebody wants their day to run, what has become difficult and what they would still rather manage themselves, then agree support that fills the gap without taking over. That might be personal care at the start and end of the day, help with medication, support to keep a household running, or somebody alongside a person while they get out to work, college or an appointment.

Where a person communicates differently, we learn how before we start rather than assuming. Small adjustments made properly are usually the difference between support that helps and support that frustrates everybody.

Plans are agreed with the person in a form they can actually use, and revised as life changes rather than at a date in the diary. We keep in step with families, social workers and health teams so nobody has to keep repeating their story.
