About Us

We are Alina Homecare Borehamwood & Cheshunt, working from our base in Hatfield to support people in their own homes across this part of Hertfordshire. We visit adults living with dementia or with mental ill health, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic, people with a physical disability, people living with an eating disorder and people whose lives have been affected by alcohol or drug use.

That range reflects how people actually are. Somebody may need help with personal care and also be managing their mental health, or may be rebuilding independence after a difficult period. We look at the whole situation and plan support with the person rather than handing over a standard package.

Support can include personal care, prompting or assisting with medication, preparing meals, help around the home, shopping, and getting out to appointments, groups, work or family. Where somebody is going through a bad stretch we can increase hours and reduce them again as things settle.

We are careful about who we send and we keep teams consistent, because this work relies on trust and trust takes time to build.
