We are Glowing Light, based in Rainham and supporting people in their own homes across Havering and the surrounding area. We work with older people and people living with dementia, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need support to manage at home. Home care only works if it fits the life it is meant to support, so we begin with a visit and a proper conversation rather than a standard offer. We want to understand what a person can still do and wants to keep doing, what has genuinely become hard, and how they would prefer to be helped. The plan follows from that and changes as circumstances do. Support might be a short morning call, several visits across the day covering personal care, medication, meals and household tasks, or something more substantial where somebody needs a steady presence to remain safely at home. For a good many of the people we visit, the company is the part of the call that matters most, and we count that as part of the work rather than an extra. We keep the same carers going to the same people as far as the rota allows, and our staff are trained and supervised properly. Please ring us to talk things through.
