We provide care in people's own homes in Wickford and across Essex. What we offer is straightforward: the help somebody needs to keep living where they want to live, at the times agreed, from carers they recognise. Most of the people we visit are older and want support with the practical business of the day, from washing and dressing to getting breakfast, taking medication properly and keeping the house in order. We support people living with dementia, where continuity of carer and a settled routine matter more than anything else we could offer. We also work with people who have a physical disability, including safe help with moving and transfers, and with younger adults needing support to live independently. Timekeeping is not a small thing. If somebody needs help to get up, a late call is not an inconvenience, it is an hour of their morning gone, so we plan rotas realistically and tell families when something changes. Care starts with a home visit and a proper conversation about what is needed and what the person would rather manage alone. The plan follows from that and is reviewed as needs change.
