About Us

WeCare Angels II provides care and support in people's own homes in Saffron Walden and the surrounding parts of Essex. We visit older people and younger adults who need help to manage daily life and stay independent at home. We will be straight with you about where we stand. Our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as requires improvement. We accepted the findings rather than arguing with them, and we have been working through a clear plan since, with changes to training, record keeping, supervision and the way we check our own practice. We would rather say this ourselves than have you find it elsewhere, and we are happy to talk through exactly what has changed. What we are trying to do has not changed. Visits are agreed with the person, written in plain language and reviewed when circumstances shift. They might cover washing and dressing, medication, meals, shopping, laundry or company. We keep rounds local so people see familiar carers, and new carers are introduced rather than sent unannounced. Noticing matters as much as doing. A carer who knows someone spots a change in appetite, mood or steadiness and raises it early, and we expect that.
