About Us

We are the Home Instead office serving Frinton on Sea and the surrounding part of Essex, providing care to people in their own homes. Most of our work is with older people and a great deal of it is with people living with dementia. We also support autistic adults and adults with a learning disability, people managing mental health conditions, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment. The rushed visit that satisfies nobody is the thing we most want to avoid. Care takes the time it takes, and what matters most is frequently what cannot be timed, such as noticing that someone has not eaten since yesterday or staying for the conversation that will be the only one they have that day. We put real effort into matching carers to the people they visit, considering temperament and shared interests as well as skills, and then we keep that pairing steady. For someone living with dementia, that familiarity is what stops a day coming apart. We work alongside families, general practitioners and community teams, and we say so plainly when needs have outgrown what home care can safely provide.
