About Us

We provide care and support in people's own homes across Colchester and the surrounding parts of Essex. We work with older people, adults living with dementia, adults with learning disabilities and autistic adults, people managing mental ill health, adults with physical disabilities, people with visual or hearing impairments, younger adults and people living with eating disorders.

That is a wide range, and we take it on deliberately. People often do not fit neatly into a single category, and being turned away because a need falls outside a provider's usual list is a real and frustrating problem for families. We would rather assess properly and be honest about what we can do.

Our visits cover personal care, medication, meals, mobility, help at the start and end of the day and support to get out into the community. Where someone is managing an eating disorder or significant mental ill health, we work to the plan set by the clinical team involved and keep to it, because consistency between everyone supporting a person is often the most valuable thing we can add.

We protect continuity of staff as far as we can, keep families and professionals properly informed, and raise concerns early rather than waiting for a crisis.
