About Us

SureCare covers Colchester and Braintree, providing care and support in people's own homes. We visit older people, people living with dementia, people managing mental health conditions, people with physical disabilities, people living with sight or hearing loss, and younger adults.

Our first meeting is a conversation rather than an assessment. What has genuinely become difficult? What do you still manage well and would rather we left alone? What would take the most pressure off this week? Times and tasks come from those answers, because a plan written the other way round describes a category of person instead of a real one.

The work covers personal care, medication, meals, moving safely about the house, laundry, shopping, appointments and time to talk properly. For people living with dementia we hold to the same carers at the same times wherever the rota allows and follow the routines already in the household.

Where sight or hearing loss is part of things, habits matter more than equipment. Saying who we are as we come in. Leaving furniture where it lives. Checking that glasses and hearing aids are clean and actually working. Where mental health is part of the picture, the useful thing is steadiness.
