About Us

Essex and Suffolk Quality Care supports people in their own homes in Clacton on Sea and across the surrounding area. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, with people managing mental health conditions, and with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment.

People usually come to us because something has shifted. A fall, a spell in hospital, a diagnosis, or the gradual recognition that managing alone has become harder than it was. The question is seldom whether somebody needs help. It is how much, of what sort, and given in what manner so that it feels like support rather than a surrender of independence.

Our carers assist with personal care, medication, meals, household tasks and getting out and about, and we build the visits around the day a person already has. We aim for consistency of carers wherever the rota allows, and we expect our staff to raise concerns promptly rather than assume somebody else has spotted the same thing.
