About Us
Here at Shaftesbury Cranfield Court, we provide home care to people living in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas of Essex. Our work is built around one straightforward idea: that people should be able to live well in their own homes, with support that fits around them rather than the other way around.
We support a wide range of people, including older adults, younger adults, and individuals living with dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and visual or hearing impairments. Because our work covers such a broad range of needs, we take time to understand each person properly before we begin. No two people are the same, and we do not treat them as though they are.
We are proud to hold a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission, which reflects the consistent, thoughtful care our team provides day to day. That rating matters to us, not because it is a badge to display, but because it tells the people we support and their families that we can be trusted to do this job properly.
Home care means we come to you. We work within the spaces that matter most to people, their own living rooms, their own routines, their own pace of life. We think that is a real privilege and we do not take it lightly. Whether someone needs a short visit each day or more regular support throughout the week, we work to make sure the care feels personal and consistent.
If you are thinking about care for yourself or someone close to you, we would genuinely welcome a conversation. There is no pressure and no rush. We are happy to answer questions, talk through options, or simply listen. Getting care right starts with that.
