About Us
At Crystal Social Care, we provide home care to people living in Brentwood, Essex and the surrounding areas. We work with older adults, younger adults living with physical disabilities, and people affected by dementia, supporting each person in the place that matters most to them — their own home.
We understand that inviting someone into your home, or into the home of someone you love, is a significant decision. That is why we take time at the outset to understand what genuinely matters to each person, not just their care needs on paper, but how they like their day to run, what they enjoy, and how they want to be treated. From there we build support around the individual rather than fitting people into a fixed routine.
Our team works across a range of support, from companionship and help with daily tasks through to more specialist care for people living with dementia or managing a physical disability. We know that needs change over time, and we stay in close contact with the people we support and their families so that our care moves with those changes rather than falling behind them.
We are proud that our most recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission rated us as Good. That outcome reflects the everyday work of our team and the relationships they build with the people they care for. We do not take that lightly.
If you are exploring home care options for yourself or for a family member in Brentwood or nearby, we are happy to have an honest conversation about what is possible and whether we might be the right fit. There is no pressure and no obligation. We simply want to help people get the right support in place so they can continue living well at home.

More about the care at Crystal Social Care
What each type of care involves, and the questions worth asking when you call or visit.
Older Person Care
The point of older person care at home is usually to remove the few obstacles that make living alone unsafe, rather than to take over. Crystal Social Care is registered for older person care. That often means help with washing and dressing in the morning, a reminder about tablets and a proper meal later in the day. Ask how the agency assesses what is genuinely needed and how often that is revisited. Continuity of carers and the availability of evening or weekend cover are the two things most worth pressing on. Hourly rates in the East commonly fall between 28 and 33 pounds.
Dementia
Dementia support works by reducing friction, keeping the day recognisable and the people in it familiar. Crystal Social Care is registered to provide dementia care. Ask what dementia training carers have and whether a small regular team can be kept on a client's rota. Establish how staff respond to agitation, repetition and refusal of personal care. Since needs increase, ask how extra visits are arranged and what is regarded as the point at which home is no longer the right place. A provider that answers plainly is the better choice.
Physical Disability
How someone gets out of bed, into a bathroom and out of the front door is the practical core of physical disability support. Crystal Social Care is registered in this area. Ask how moving and handling is assessed, whether double handed visits are available, and how equipment problems are reported and fixed.
Younger Adults
Younger adults needing care usually want it to be as unobtrusive as possible. Crystal Social Care is registered to support people under 65. Ask how visits can be scheduled around work or study, how easily times can be changed, and how carers are matched.
