About Us
We are a home care agency working in Brentwood and across Essex. Our carers visit people in their own homes at agreed times, providing the support that makes staying at home a workable option.
The people we support include older people and younger adults, people managing mental health conditions and people with physical disabilities. What we offer depends on the person. It might be help with washing and dressing, support with medication, preparing meals, keeping on top of the house, shopping, or getting out to appointments. For some people the practical help is the point. For others, the fact that somebody comes, sits down and takes an interest matters just as much.
We plan care with the person it is for. That conversation covers the obvious things and also the ones that get overlooked, such as what somebody wants to keep doing for themselves and what they would rather we did not fuss about. The plan is reviewed as circumstances change instead of being written once and filed.
We work at keeping the same carers going to the same households. Familiarity is not a nicety in this job. It is how somebody notices quickly that a person is not their usual self and does something about it.
