About Us

Good Life Care provides care and support to people in their own homes in Braintree and across Essex. We work with older people and younger adults, including people living with dementia, people with a learning disability, people who are autistic, people with a physical disability and people with a visual or hearing impairment.

Everything begins with a visit and a proper conversation. We want to understand how the day goes now, where it has become difficult and what sort of help would be welcome, because unwanted help is worse than none. From that we agree a plan with the person and, if they want them involved, with their family, put it in writing and review it as circumstances change.

Visits can cover getting up and settling at night, washing and dressing, prompting or assisting with medication, preparing meals, help around the home, shopping, and getting out to appointments or to see people. We also provide dependable cover for relatives who are caring for somebody themselves.

We aim to send the same carers to the same households, because trust takes time and a familiar carer notices when something is not right.
