About Us

We are the Home Instead team covering Brentwood, Billericay and Upminster, working from Blackmore and supporting people in their own homes across the area.

Our most recent CQC overall rating is outstanding. We are glad of it, though what we would rather be judged on is whether the people we visit are living the way they want to.

We support older people and people living with dementia, adults with a learning disability and autistic adults, people with a physical disability or a visual or hearing impairment, and younger adults who need help to live independently.

Our visits are built to be unhurried. A great deal of what makes home care worth having happens around the practical task rather than in it, in the conversation while the kettle boils or on the walk to the shops, and that does not fit into a rushed quarter of an hour.
