About Us
Lilyrose Care Group supports people in their own homes in Huntingdon and across Cambridgeshire. We work with older people and younger adults, with people living with dementia, and with people who have physical disabilities or a visual or hearing impairment.
Home care works best when it is built around the life somebody already has rather than imposed on top of it. So we start by asking what the day currently looks like, what has become difficult, and what a person most wants to hold onto. Sometimes the answer is practical help with washing, dressing, medication and meals. Sometimes it is the support that makes it possible to get out of the house, keep an appointment or stay involved with family and friends.
We try to send the same carers to the same people. That continuity matters for anybody, and a great deal for somebody living with dementia, for whom an unfamiliar face at the door can turn an ordinary morning into a distressing one. It also means our staff notice when something is not right and can raise it early.
