About Us
Crossroads Care South East London supports people in their own homes in Erith and across the surrounding boroughs. We work with older people and with younger adults, and our experience covers dementia, learning disabilities and autism, physical disabilities, and sight and hearing loss.
A good part of our work is with family carers as well as the people they care for, and that shapes how we think. Somebody looking after a relative at home is often doing it every day without a break, and a few reliable hours can be the difference between managing and reaching the end of their tether. So we take the arrangements seriously: we turn up when we said, we learn how the household works before we change anything, and we leave things as the person likes them.
Support may be personal care and medication, meals, help about the house, company, or simply being there safely while a carer gets out for a few hours. We assess at home and agree the plan with the person and their family rather than issuing one.
