About Springfield House
Springfield House is a residential care home in Malvern. We look after older people who need daily care, including many people living with dementia, and we also support younger adults who need residential care. The house runs at a human pace. People get up when they wake, eat what they recognise and enjoy, and spend their days in whatever way suits them. For someone living with dementia, that steadiness is a large part of the care, along with familiar faces, meals at expected times and enough time in the day that nobody is hurried through anything. We would rather adapt to a person than expect a person to adapt to us. Relatives are welcome whenever they want to come. Respite stays are part of what we offer too, giving a family carer a proper rest or supporting somebody through a period of recovery after a hospital stay. Our most recent overall rating from the Care Quality Commission was good. We were pleased with it, though we keep asking ourselves the more useful question, which is whether people look settled and comfortable here week after week. If you are looking for a home for yourself or someone close to you, please come and see us. Call in on a normal day, meet the people who live here, and ask us whatever you want to know.
